The BFZ 5 t car transporter is designed for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, including damaged and accident-damaged vehicles. A profiled chassis frame and air suspension assist loading. The 5 t version has reinforced suspension and greater payload capacity than the lighter version.
Platform and loading
- A platform made from aluminium profiles with a milled loading surface.
- Side profiles provide attachment points for lashing straps.
- Air suspension assists vehicle loading.
- The loading-ramp system also accommodates narrow-track vehicles such as quad bikes, motorcycles and lawn mowers.
Gross vehicle weight and payload
The 5 t designation refers to the transporter’s gross vehicle weight (GVW). It does not state the weight of a vehicle that can be carried on the platform.
The body must be selected with reference to the weight and dimensions of the vehicle to be transported and the specification of the individual configuration.
